I worked with the President and CEO of Koss Corporation, Michael Koss, to develop traditional and non-traditional forms of Public Relations. I collaborated with Koss' agencies, including Hanson Dodge Creative, Branigan Communications and Triple Play. Improved Koss' website with keywords and search engine optimization. I worked with many people to develop and activate a Koss.com email offer campaign in preparation for a new product launch. I was the point of contact for media outlets and I posted various updates on the Recent News and Events section of the Koss website. I also assisted with Koss' customer service order processing and sales departments. From new product information and Press Releases to Social Media and Event Marketing a variety of tasks were under my umbrella.

Role: Account Executive on the Bank of America team at GMR Marketing (June 2008 - December 2008)
I was involved in Program Development, Implementation, Management and Client Satisfaction. Projects I worked on include: Broadway in Bryant Park (a six week program in conjunction with Clear Channel) and student focused programs on 32 college campuses and in 11 malls across the country.

#MKEBowling
#MKEBowling is an event that took place in Milwaukee on May 16, 2010. It was created and promoted via word of mouth and various forms of social media including Weebly, Eventbrite, Twitter, Facebook, Twtvite and a pre-event Twtvite. The event benefited the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Wisconsin. Over 60 active members of the Milwaukee community came together to bowl and to fight MS. Leading up to the event, many partnerships were formed with area businesses to provide support and over 30 raffle items.
Newaukee
Role: Event Coordinator, Director of Social Media, Secretary (December 2008 - Present)
Newaukee is a social networking group for young professionals. Our tag-line is "Meet People. Meet Milwaukee." I have been a member of the planning committee since the group came into existence in December 2008. I keep records and create documents for pitches to venues. I brainstorm, coordinate and execute events. I have also owned the growth of Newaukee's social media presence on the blog, Twitter and Facebook.

Executed the Dew DIY campaign, which consisted of three components: Gear, Game/Tech and Art. At the end of the contest I organized a gallery to showcase the top entries from each category. Marquette was honored as one of the top ten programs. The second campaign, DEWmocracy, was focused on sampling and partnering with other campus groups.

Dole
Role: Market Manager through Vivid Marketing (May 2010 - Present)
Managed the Family Kite Festival site in Milwaukee during a nationwide Dole activation. Dole was promoting their new watermelon and lemon-lime Sensation juices in various cities and at ten sites throughout Milwaukee. My team and I distributed over 10,000 samples from our footprint filled with 16 brand ambassadors and one mascot. Was able to set up a free promotional bit with one of the professional kite fliers and event hosts, in which the lemon-lime mascot flew a kite before the crowd [VIDEO].

George Webb
Role: Consultant, PR Coordinator and Creative Director for George Webb at Marquette (October 2006 - May 2008)
Developed innovative ways to reach Marquette students and change their perception of the George Webb on Marquette's campus. To improve business, I created a variety of events, partnerships, specials and posters. Business at the restaurant had been on a slow decline since its opening and had it's highest ever sales well in August of 2007.

Cricket Wireless
Role: Brand Ambassador through 100 Monkeys (April 2009 - August 2009)
Responsibilities included attending events in the Milwaukee area and distributing promotional materials. While at events I talked with consumers about what Cricket has to offer them as a wireless and broadband provider.

Alpha Phi
Role: Director of Administration, Director of Alumnae Relations and Greek Junior of the Year (2004 - 2008)
I served on the Eta Mu Alpha Phi Executive Board for three years as the Director of Administration. When I served as the Director of Alumnae Relations I initiated contact with Milwaukee Area Alumnae. I also began groundwork for an Alumnae Newsletter. In 2006 I created "Cardiac Arrest", an annual jail 'n' bail event. In the three years I ran the event, we raised over $5,000 to fight heart disease. The Greek Junior of the Year Award is based on outstanding leadership and community service. As a chapter we also won the "Spirit of Marquette Award" in 2006.

Role: Integrated Marketing Account Executive for the Marquette NSAC team (October 2007 - May 2008)
The client for the 2008 National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) was America Online (AOL), with a focus on AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). Our plans book displayed our "Be The Message" campaign. We took second place at the District Eight Regional Competition.

Role: Brand Ambassador (March 2008 - May 2008)
When Body Worlds came to Milwaukee the exhibit was at the Milwaukee Public Museum and was promoted by CKME Marketing. My responsibilities included attending events downtown Milwaukee and handing out promotional materials.

County Clare Irish Inn
Role: Hospitality Guru (February 2009 - Present)
Have consulted with the owner of the Harp and Eagle collection of restaurants and inns about possible actions to market his properties. Have been trained in the art of making friends in 5 minutes while behind the hotel front desk and serving in the pub.

Chipotle Mexican Grill
Role: Team Lead for Marquette's Entry into the National Chipotle Competition (2007)
Marquette's Copywriting and Broadcasting classes came together to create entries into the National Chipotle Competition. My team, "Foil Shizzle", created a commerical, "Chipotle, It's an Addiction". We were named the best entry out of the Marquette entries and top 70 in the National Competition. The National Competition was judged based on YouTube views.

Role: Logistics Committee Member and Volunteer (2005 - 2008)
In 2006, I was on the Logistics Committee for Marquette run, "Hunger Clean Up". I helped to coordinate 'day of event' logistics including check in, material check-out, t-shirt pick up and transportation to work sites. I was a volunteer each of my four years at Marquette. In 2008, I coordinated Mountain Dew sponsoring the event during the DEWmocracy campaign.

Luci Boutique opened in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward in October 2008. I consult with the owner about wise marketing moves and did the startup work for Luci's online marketing and Social Media pages. I networked and initiated relationships with females in Luci's target market.

Role: Student Organization Program Assistant in the LEAD Center (2005 - 2008)
Office of Student Development oversees the Center for Leadership Education and Development (LEAD Center). As a Student Organization Program Assistant, I worked with over 230 student organizations on Marquette's campus. I ran workshops, allocated storage facilities and was in charge of the Student Organization Awards Reception (SOAR) and SOAR selection committee.

Role: Marketing Assistant at the Roaring Fork Restaurant Group (March 2007 - July 2007)

WHTS 105.3 "Hot" FM
Role: Citadel Broadcasting Group Promotion Staff (May 2006 - August 2006)
When Citadel Broadcasting introduced their new station, WHTS 105.3 "Hot" FM, in the Spring of 2006 they did not run any commercials. As part of the promotion staff I attended a variety of venues including high schools, beaches, concerts and festivals. I handed out promotional materials and talked about the new station with potential listeners.

Women's Leadership Conference
Role: Speaker Hospitality (2007)
The Women's Leadership Conference is an annual event at Marquette. My role on the Women's Leadership Conference planning committee was greatly focused around the speaker, Awista Ayub. I corresponded with Awista prior to the conference and was in charge of hospitality while she was in town. I introduced her to the faculty and students at the conference.

Role: Volunteer (2003 - Present)
Young Life is an international non-denominational Christian organization. I have volunteered on Young Life camp properties on both Work Crew (Timberwolf Lake, Lake City MI) and Summer Staff (Castaway Club, Detroit Lakes MN). I was youth group leader for four years (2004 - 2008) and have maintained my role as a mentor to high school students in Whitefish Bay WI.
Young Life is an international non-denominational Christian organization. I have volunteered on Young Life camp properties on both Work Crew (Timberwolf Lake, Lake City MI) and Summer Staff (Castaway Club, Detroit Lakes MN).
